- I have family members that get their supplemental health insurance thru AARP and they researched heavily before making a decision and it has been excellent and the least expensive.

- The insurance companies are doing fine - 35th on the Fortune 500 - come on. Generally - Corporate America could care less about the struggles of the everyday working class, middle class(what's left of it). To me that is the bigger issue.

Forget about (20) years ago - a national healthcare plan was supposed to be part of the original Social Security legislation SEVENTY-FIVE (75) years ago!!! Republicans and weak-kneed Conservative Democrats derailed it back then with the same ideological crap they're spewing now. If 75 years isn't enough time to study an issue, then we need a new form of government!!!
